Sauvignon Blanc Pesrl

PESRL Sauvignon shows a middle path, even though it is very pronounced at the same time it is elegant and moderate. It is light in colour, pale yellow which shows a protective approach in producing the wine that wants to preserve everything that the grapes contains. It smells fruity – a mixture of gooseberry, peach and currant with the inspiration of tomato and lemon grass. It is fresh, aromatic and pleasant in taste. The wine is not corpulent it is dry, so it is very drinkable and refreshing. A wine that “calls for more.”

Sauvignon is a variety of many faces that separates drinkers more than any other. It is spread all over the world. In our country it was named Muscat Sylvaner for a long time. It is exuberantly grown, therefore it needs a lot of green work done in the vineyard. To reach its aromatic potential it needs moderate day temperatures and cold nights while maturing. The heat does not agree with this variety and the wine-keeper must have a lot of knowledge to harvest it in time when the maturity is right – depending on how wild or decent note in the bouquet of wine he wants to produce. The bouquet and the aroma of sauvignon differ depending on the soil type, year, time of the harvest and the way of winemaking. With sauvignon we can easily detect a smell of elderflower, cut grass, black current, gooseberry, green paprika, and not even mentioning the smell of cat litter. That is why this is a variety of wine that some like very much, while others finds it completely unappealing. People are so different.
